Brand new series of Shorty's Rescue starts tonight at 10PM
This season on Shorty’s Rescue Shorty and his crew delve deeper into the growing pit bull crisis in Los Angeles. From abused dogs to pit fighting and backyard breeding, Shorty confronts the dark underside of the ill-reputed breed. As mail pours in about dogs in jeopardy, Shorty must raise more money through his entertainment business and Shorty’s Charities.
Away from the office, friction grows between Shorty and Ronald as Ronald shuns costume work in pursuit of his dream to become a serious actor. Meanwhile, Sebastian’s long-distance relationship with his girlfriend creates conflict in his friendship with Ronald. Will Sebastian need to choose between his best friend/roommate and his girlfriend? Through her exposure at Shortywood Productions, Ashley develops an interest in stand-up comedy, but Shorty is skeptical about her taking the stage. Meanwhile, Shorty gets political, touched by the story of a US Marine forced to give up his dog before deploying to Afghanistan, Shorty takes a stand against Breed Specific Legislation. And on a personal note, Shorty reveals more about his troubled past as he confronts unresolved issues with his family.

Shorty is back for a second series on DMAX and has come back all guns blazin’.
Expect nothing short (sorry, we had to) of laughs, fun, friction and fights. Shorty’s angry at Ronald who shuns costume work in pursuit of his dreams to become a serious actor. Ashley, to Shorty’s dismay, develops an interest in stand-up comedy and Sebastian is having trouble with his long-distance girlfriend which creates conflict in his friendship with Ronald.
It certainly is all kicking off.
The new series begins on Thursday 25 November at 10PM. In episode one Shorty’s called out to help a badly bitten pitbull and quickly finds he’s investigating an alleged dog fighting ring.

Shorty's Rescue comes to DMAX

An ex-con pit bull-rescuing little person running an entertainment company with his own television show is not something you see everyday. However, the programming team over at DMAX Towers thought it should be the exact premise for a BRAND NEW show and moments later Shorty’s Rescue was born.
Former actor, entertainment guru and pit bull rescuer Shorty (aptly named) Rossi is a workaholic with a devilish sense of humour and quick temper. He balances two jobs - running Shortywood Productions, a Hollywood talent management company for little people, as well as his pit bull rescue group Shorty’s Rescue.
When Shorty was 18 years old he was sent to prison after being involved in a gang-related shooting and served a total sentence of over 10 years. While in prison, Shorty turned his life around, and by the time he was released, he was determined to do something worthwhile and helpful.
He’s gathered together three little people who are his friends and employees - Ronald, Ashley and Sebastian help manage his Hollywood talent agency and take on the gargantuan task of rescuing, rehabbing and training the most misunderstood of dogs - pit bulls.
Shorty and his three cohorts happen to be little people with the biggest hearts for these adorable dogs, (who often are bigger than they are).
Does this sound like your cup of tea?
We are addicted and think Shorty is hilarious.
You have to see it to believe it so tune in to DMAX on Thursdays from the 19th of August at 10pm...plus here's a cheeky sneak peek!
